Atlanta, GA – September 18, 2025 – OptumMD, a membership-based concierge and functional medicine clinic serving Buckhead and Atlanta, announced it has been recognized as a top-rated functional medicine clinic in the area. The distinction underscores OptumMD’s commitment to longer, more comprehensive visits, advanced diagnostic testing, and individualized care plans that aim to treat underlying causes rather than only symptoms.
“At OptumMD we take the time to listen, run targeted testing, and build a care plan tailored to the whole person — lifestyle, environment, genetics and goals. This recognition validates our team’s dedication to patient-first medicine in Buckhead.”
Why this matters for Atlanta (Buckhead) residents
Buckhead is home to discerning patients who expect exceptional care and measurable results. Functional medicine is a systems-based approach that focuses on identifying root causes of chronic conditions — from metabolic and hormonal imbalances to brain health and cardiovascular risk — and then treating those causes with personalized interventions (nutrition, targeted supplements, hormone optimization, lifestyle medicine, and when appropriate, advanced therapies). OptumMD combines this functional framework with the accessibility and continuity of concierge primary care, offering same/next-day visits, extended appointments, and after-hours access for members.
“We partner with patients to build a long-term roadmap for health that’s evidence-based and realistic — and we measure progress along the way.”
