Dallas, TX, USA – September 18, 2025 – What if the tools for healing were already part of God’s creation, and the path to restoration could be both spiritual and transformative? In her new book, The Christian’s Guide to Psychedelics: Finding Hope and Healing Through God’s Creation, author and speaker Wendi Rees explores the intersection of faith and alternative healing, offering a thoughtful and discerning perspective on the use of substances such as Ibogaine, Psilocybin, MDMA, and Ketamine.
Drawing on personal experience, Scripture, and practical insight, Rees helps readers understand how God’s creativity can intersect with modern approaches to mental, emotional, and spiritual restoration. Through honesty, prayer, and testimony, she encourages a faith-forward approach to healing that recognizes God as the ultimate source of restoration using even unexpected instruments to bring hearts, minds, and souls back to wholeness.
This book is for anyone seeking clarity, courage, and understanding about unconventional healing methods without compromising their faith. Rees shares her remarkable journey of pain, surrender, and restoration through plant medicine and, ultimately, through Jesus Christ. The book does not glorify psychedelics; it glorifies Jesus, the true Healer, while exploring whether certain God-made medicines can serve as instruments of renewal for trauma, addiction, and depression.
The Christian’s Guide to Psychedelics is now available on Amazon.
