From May 20 to 28, Huang Jinwu, Party Secretary of Longhai District Committee in Zhangzhou, led an trade and economic delegation to Poland, Germany, and Italy. The purpose of the visit was to engage in economic and trade discussions, facilitate project collaborations, strengthen trade and economic ties between Longhai District and European countries, and support Longhai’s foreign trade enterprises in expanding their international markets.
In Warsaw, Poland, the delegation organized a promotional event and industry matchmaking conference for Longhai, the renowned city of leisure foods. They invited local industry associations, top buyers, business representatives, and over 10 foreign trade companies from Longhai to participate. At the meeting, Huang Jinwu highlighted Longhai’s strategic location, industrial foundation, and business-friendly environment. He extended a heartfelt invitation to the attending entrepreneurs to join the “5th China Zhangzhou (Longhai) Food Expo.” Huang encouraged them to experience Longhai’s rich heritage, charm, and vitality firsthand, and to explore opportunities for mutual growth and development.
During their visit to Poland, the delegation met with PTAK Warsaw Expo Group to learn about their series of exhibition plans. The aim was to connect and promote key industries such as Longhai’s food, home furniture, electronics, and gifts through international exhibition platforms, thereby expanding into the Polish and Central Eastern European markets and fostering trade cooperation in these sectors. They also visited NH China-Europe Railway Express (Poland) Co., Ltd. to discuss establishing overseas warehouses and signed a framework agreement to set up marketing outlets and overseas warehouses for Longhai leisure foods in Poland. Additionally, the delegation visited Warsaw GD Mall to negotiate the establishment of marketing outlets for Longhai leisure foods. They held talks with the Polish National Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises to explore bilateral investment and trade cooperation in the food industry. The discussions focused on promoting the high-quality industries, future development plans, and investment environment of the economic development zone, as well as exploring paths for food industry cooperation between the two sides. Delegation members, chambers of commerce, and enterprises engaged in matchmaking talks to promote trade cooperation between Longhai and the Polish food industry.
The delegation visited the Polish Fujian Chamber of Commerce to learn about its development and the growth of Fujian businesses in Poland. They facilitated networking and exchanges between our delegation, participating enterprises, and chamber members. Additionally, we signed the “Poland-Longhai Economic and Cultural Cooperation” agreement with the chamber, aiming to establish friendly relations and help Longhai enterprises expand into the Central and Eastern European markets.
In Germany, the delegation visited the KION Group’s Aschaffenburg plant to discuss expanding Fujian Hishan Machinery’s investment scale. The goal is to encourage KION Group to increase investment and production of new energy intelligent forklifts, loaders, and other specialized port and warehouse logistics vehicles in Longhai. They also visited SK Company, a major trade partner of Zini Town’s Greenfresh (Fujian) Food Co., Ltd. in Germany. Through on-site visits and in-depth cooperation exchanges, they aim to foster long-term cooperation between Greenfresh Food and SK Company in the import and export trade sector. Additionally, the delegation visited the Giessen-Friedberg Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Sino-German Technology and Culture Exchange Association to actively build an exchange platform. They focused on promoting Longhai’s food industry, business environment, and investment policies. The delegation organized trade and investment cooperation meetings between accompanying enterprises and local businesses, leveraging the Chambers of Commerce’s resources to facilitate matchmaking. This effort aims to expand collaboration in investment, trade, technology, and cultural exchanges between the two regions.
In Italy, the delegation visited the Pescara City Government, where they were received by Mayor Carlo Masci. During this visit, the delegation held in-depth discussions on establishing a bilateral trade and economic cooperation mechanism with the Pescara City Government. The Pescara City Government expressed interest in collaborating on new energy projects and exploring opportunities in the fields of food, machinery, and the fishing port economy. The delegation also engaged in discussions with A.C.TRADING SRL, BV Italy, and various Italian home industry organizations. This visit facilitated the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between Anlida Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. from Longhai City, Fujian Province, and A.C.TRADING SRL, to import locally produced Italian pasta and establish a long-term import trade agreement. Additionally, it led to the signing of an import-export trade agreement between Greenfresh (Fujian) Food Co., Ltd. from Zini Town and BV Italy.
