Ronary, a leading provider of remote online notarization (RON) services in Florida, has announced that it is offering online course for Florida notaries who want to become RON online notary Florida certified. The course covers the basics of RON, the legal requirements, the technology, and the best practices for performing online notarizations.
The course, which is approved by the Florida Department of State, consists of three modules and a final exam. Upon completion of the course, notaries will receive a certificate of completion and will be eligible to apply for RON commission with the state. Ronary also provides notaries with a $25,000 surety bond and a $25,000 errors and omissions insurance policy, which are required by the state for RON commission.
Ronary’s legal expert, Jason B. Giller, said that the Florida notary course is part of Ronary’s mission to empower notaries and make RON accessible and affordable for everyone.
Ronary’s RON platform allows notaries and their clients to complete notarizations online from anywhere, anytime, using advanced technology such as identity proofing, credential analysis, and video recording. Ronary’s platform is compliant with the Florida RON law that took effect on May 10, 2020, which authorizes Florida notaries to perform online notarizations after completing an application and training requirements.
Ronary’s platform can be used for various types of documents, such as real estate deeds, seller packages, mortgages, affidavits, power of attorney, and more. The platform also allows notaries to access their electronic journal and video recordings, which are stored securely in the cloud.
