Fast-paced and action-packed, there is not a dull moment in the entire book as you find yourself hooked to the pages until the end. Joel Poe has built a wondrously imaginative world full of monsters, paladins, thieves, and warlocks in which you can’t help becoming immersed. The narrative reminds you of the Hollywood movie Ready Player One, where a young man finds himself inside a video game and plays to win it and attain his goals. I liked all the members of Joren’s team and their playful banter and interactions. All in all, a thoroughly entertaining adventure fantasy novella.”
