Before embarking on his current career path, Maurice obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University. He also earned a Certificate in Producing, Film/Cinema/Video Studies from New York University, a Certificate in Producing (Film and Television) from Tisch School of the Arts, and a Master of Science in Education from Mercy College.
His impressive repertoire of previous roles before starting his own business includes: he began his career working as an ESL and dual language teacher for the NYC Board of Education (as well as an experienced teacher consultant for new teachers as they entered the program) and then serving as a recruiter and assistant account manager for Algomod Technologies. Soon after he officially entered the consulting world, rising through the ranks at Deloitte Consulting starting as a Human Capital consultant before leaving 8 years later as an experienced manager. He was then recruited as a practice director of Human Capital for K1 Operations and built a consultancy that supported their portfolio of software companies. Finally, he dove headfirst into operational consulting, taking the role of Vice President (first as People & Change and then as Learning, Change, and Inclusion), for legal software firm Litera.
Throughout his illustrious career, Maurice has received awards and was recognized for his outstanding leadership. This year he will be considered for a feature article in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine. Maurice will receive his recognition as Top CEO of the Year at IAOTP’s annual award gala at the iconic Plaza Hotel this December.
Maurice, the current president of Zeta Psi Educational Foundation, has volunteered on the board of advisors for the past 13 years. The Zeta Psi Educational Foundation is dedicated to membership education, scholarships, and philanthropy in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and France. He is poised to ascend to the organization’s highest honor, Phi Alpha (or President), in the summer of 2023.
Additionally, Maurice is passionate about various subjects, including but not limited to animal welfare, arts and culture, civil rights and social action, economic empowerment, education, environment, health, poverty alleviation, and social services.
