Iowa author Kurt Wagner and his family have been independently self-publishing wholesome, educational children’s books for the past nine years. The Anthony’s Adventures series, which follows the adventures of an adorable mouse named Anthony, is the product of the family’s collective efforts, with each member contributing their unique talents to each book.
By working on each book as a family, they have created a series of books that captures the imagination and teaches valuable lessons, all while fostering a love of reading. Their commitment to traditional storytelling and attention to detail has made Anthony the Mouse a favorite among children, parents and educators.
The Anthony’s Adventures series stands out for its educational value and the family’s dedication to quality. Each book features a durable hardcover, ensuring long-lasting enjoyment. The vivid, full-color illustrations breathe life into the stories, captivating young readers and making these books cherished additions to any child’s library.
In addition to nine hardcover books, the Wagners have introduced plush toys of their main characters, board puzzles, a memory game, and a coloring and activity book. The age range for their educational tools is 0-8 years old.
Looking ahead, Kurt Wagner and his family have no plans to slow down their creative endeavors. They are currently working on three new board books and a paint with water activity book, which they plan to release mid-2023. And while they may not be household names yet, they are grateful for the support of their fans and the opportunity to share their love of storytelling.
In a world where mass-produced entertainment is ubiquitous, the Wagner family’s traditional approach is a breath of fresh air. By working together as a family and taking pride in their attention to detail, the Wagners have created a series of books that not only entertains but also educates and inspires children.
