Vanessa Landry is a former non-profit specialist turned entrepreneur on a mission to reverse the effects of climate change. After more than ten years working with some of the world’s leading non profits in Australia, the UK and Canada, The IMPACTful Academy was born from her desire to mobilise fellow sustainability advocates to implement their ideas for climate action.
With her experience in business strategy, behaviour change and impact marketing, she provides training, mentorship and coaching to aspiring changemakers – ensuring their ideas for systemic change can be implemented quickly and effectively.
Since launching The IMPACTful Academy in March 2021, Landry has spoken to thousands of sustainability advocates who all vocalised the need for community, support and camaraderie in an increasingly difficult mission.
“Recently a lot of advocates have noticed that when the world is faced with increasing global concerns such as wars and pandemics, it’s easy for decades old issues like climate change to take a back seat. It can often feel like a lonely battle to be on a mission that isn’t really getting the traction it deserves.”
Having met so many passionate and likeminded individuals, Landry launched the mastermind – The Changemakers’ Collective – to create a space to network, skill build and inspire one another while pursuing ambitious goals.
