Indian online retail market is buzzing with ultrafast deliveries, starting with groceries. While the debate on success rate of such business model in debatable, various other sectors have shown keen interest in the same.
10 minutes delivery model has shown its fragility, pushing current companies to shift their positioning to ‘delivery in minutes’ – tempting brands from other product range to take a note of it. A global shoe company on verge of its launch of ultrafast deliveries is now back to planning board to calculate the ideal time.
Among all this, there is a stationery brand which is planning to launch its hyperlocal deliveries in selected cities, to start with. “We want our customer to get his order fast but we are definitely not in a rush.” says Parag Jindal – founder, Scooboo. “We want to avoid any kind of over commitment”.
Scooboo, a bootstrap startup, has established itself as the leading online stationery store, nationally – delivering 5000+ products across 30,000+ pincodes. Mostly all stationery brands are now selling their products through Scooboo. The startup is ready to start its hyperlocal warehouses in selected cities to provide seamless service to its customers. “Considering all factors, specially human, we have realistic timelines and will be starting with delivery within 24 hours. We plan to take down this to 8 hours within 5 months from launch date of respective city” states Parag.
Scooboo is experiencing 3X YoY growth since 2 years due to their huge connect with youth and the management is positive that fast deliveries will prove to be a booster for their increasing sales. Website – www.scooboo.in
