“Corinth 2642 AD by Bindiya Schaefer is an action-packed thriller set in a distant future where humanity has transcended national borders and diversification based on race and religion and lives unified under the umbrella of One World. After the great Millenial War of the 21st century, racism has become almost obsolete, except for a few pockets of isolated colonies where white supremacists have formed their own dystopia. A former police officer turned PI, James Matto, receives an unexpected visitor when Julius Bull seeks his help locating his missing granddaughter, Cara. Sensing a personal interest, James travels to Corinth, only to find himself in a dangerous place where anyone trying to leave is killed mercilessly. With a racist militia on their trail, a spy amongst the town populace may be the only hope for James and his friends.
“Corinth 2642 AD is an adrenaline-pumping wild rollercoaster of a ride that will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Author Bindiya Schaefer tells a gripping tale that showcases how easy it is to brainwash multiple generations of people using hatred and propaganda to create an appalling dystopia where innocents become the victims of an abhorrent ideology. The narrative is dripping in tension and intrigue and contains scintillating action sequences that will have you biting your nails. The characters are well-layered with considerable depth to their outer personas. James is a likable protagonist who unwittingly finds himself trapped in a hostile environment with little chance of escape. You can’t help but root for him. If you’re itching for a dystopian thriller with some poignant social commentary, I highly recommend Corinth 2642 AD.”
