BALYO, the leader in REACH and VNA (very narrow aisle) AGV (automated guided vehicles), is growing rapidly increasing the global footprint. The staff is expected to double to accommodate this growth and demand for product.
The newest member of the BALYO team is Alfonso Gallardo, EMEA Sales Director. He will be responsible for delivering incremental BL2 order intake and will oversee and work closely with the EMEA Sales Team toward building the sales funnel through targeted business development. Gallardo reports to Mark Stevenson, Chief Sales Officer.
Gallardo brings extensive experience and success in direct sales of large, complex mobile robotics projects, great knowledge of the EMEA market, and competitive landscape. He is highly skilled in business development, designing, and developing high-growth segments. He recently joined the team at the Madrid, Spain office. Gallardo is heading smart factory and warehouse development.
Gallardo comes to BALYO from JBT Automatic Guided Vehicles where he was the AGV Sales manager, Europe. He graduated from Univerza v Mariboru in Mechanical Engineering. Gallardo also has an MBA and Master’s Degree in Energy Management.
