Warminster, PA – Shenandoah Biotechnology announced today it has released its first CTG™ product – CTG™ Human Interleukin 2 c126s. The work in chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies, stem-cell advancements, and other regenerative medicines continue to be groundbreaking. Shenandoah’s new CTG™ Human IL-2 can play a role in the research, development, and production of current and future therapies. It can be used as an ancillary reagent to support and grow patient cells ex vivo, enabling researchers to manipulate genes and cells to target specific diseases.
“Our leadership team with combined decades of industry experience came together with a brilliant team of engineers to develop a vertically integrated, β-lactam-free, cGMP recombinant protein production facility,” said Pamela De Lacy, President of Shenandoah.
“In support of our ongoing production of over 300 recombinant proteins, we recently moved into a 15,000-ft2 cGMP production facility in Warminster, PA,” adds Ms. De Lacy. “The purpose-built facility, equipment, and process flows were all designed to support the production scientists, QC team, and final products from the outset. The new facility enables us to scale our production batches while complying with appropriate sections of 21 CFR parts 210, 211, and 820 FDA regulations. Shenandoah’s cGMP production facility guarantees our products are made under the most stringent guidelines to ensure our customers have the highest quality products and a secure supply chain for critical raw materials.”
The CTG™ Human Interleukin 2 is followed by a panel of Shenandoah’s core proteins, such as IL-7, IL-21, IL-15, and TGF-1. Shenandoah’s goal is to continue setting the bar as the industry’s highest quality cost-effective recombinant protein supplier. The cell therapy grade recombinant protein supplier provides proteins, protein bundles, growth factors, antibodies, and other products for research and industrial purposes.
