New York, NY, USA – April 28, 2021 – Last month, Mangia launched an exclusive collaboration with Navarino Icons, an award-winning gourmet food line based in the Peloponnese region of Greece. Mangia is the only company to have a private label line of Navarino Mini Icons, which are 12 milliliter bottles of extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
The Navarino Mini Icons are made in Messinia, one of the most famous olive oil-producing regions in the world. The extra-virgin olive oil is made with the renowned variety of olive called Koroneiki, which has grown in Messinia for more than 3,000 years. Navarino Icons grows their olives in seaside groves at Costa Navarino, a premier sustainable luxury destination in Messinia. The olives are harvested by hand and the oil is produced using methods that reflect environmental responsibility and honor local traditions and communities. The balsamic vinegar is made with local grapes that are sun-dried, fermented, and processed without additives or preservatives.
At Mangia, we strive to use only high-quality ingredients that are native to the Mediterranean, which is why we have chosen an award-winning Greek olive oil that will enhance the flavors in our farm-to-table style of preparing food.
