According to IMDb, the independent British film ‘People in Landscape’ has completed post-production and has now begun the process of finding a film festival to premiere in.

This is Benjamin Rider’s eighth feature film as a writer and director. This follows previous successes such as his B Movie ‘Suburban Coffin’, the drama ‘Forever Tomorrow’ and the art-house festival darling ‘Our Little Haven’, which won Best British Film at the London Film Awards, the Grand Jury Prize at Barcelona Film Festival and Best Cinematography at the Maverick Movie Awards back in 2017.

‘People in Landscape’, which was shot in black and white, focuses on Sandra’s surreal divorce from her husband, which quite literally brings about the end of the world. The film stars Alison Brougham (‘Suburban Coffin’, ‘Forever Tomorrow’) in the title role and is supported by an eclectic cast including Eric Roberts (‘The Dark Knight’, ‘Runaway Train’), Gina Gershon (‘Showgirls’, ‘Bound’), Anne Wittman (‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’, Melanie Martinez’s ‘K-12’), Kate Cook (‘The Conjuring 2’, BBC’s ‘Call the Midwife’), Waleed Elgadi (‘Four Lions’, ‘A Hologram for the King’) and Dana Smit (BBC’s ‘Holby City’).

Obscuriscopic Films is currently in production on their next feature film, ‘The Mux’, and have announced ‘Reflower’ as an upcoming short film to be shot before the end of the year.
