Jodie Cook is an entrepreneur with over ten years of experience. Her years of experience have taught her many valuable skills, and she is passionate about passing her insights to the next batch of aspiring entrepreneurs. Inspiring others to take action and take control of their lives is what Jodie does best, and she shares what she has learned through her many books, articles, and speaking engagements.
At 22, Jodie Cook built her first company, a marketing agency, from the ground up. She began with a small team, but in just two years, she had expanded her agency. She kept her company growing and flourishing over a ten-year period before selling it recently.
“Over those ten years, I have worked with a lot of different clients and team members,” Jodie shared. “And each taught me something new and challenged me to think in creative and innovative ways.”
Documenting her experience and insights, Jodie Cook wrote about her experience as the leader of a marketing agency, creating a brand, finding and working with clients, hiring a team, and growing her company. The lessons she learned Jodie shared with others in the form of articles and books she wrote.
“I always knew I wanted to do more and be more,” she said, “And I knew many people out there felt the same way. I wrote my articles and my books to help early-stage entrepreneurs gain a better understanding of the entrepreneurial journey, including all its ups and downs.”
Choosing an entrepreneurial lifestyle is not always easy. With every business and start-up comes challenges and roadblocks. “Early-stage entrepreneurs may not have the tools or the knowledge to handle those problems. So often I see new entrepreneurs who have issues regarding sales, not knowing how to hire the right people, or feel like the business is running them instead of them running the business,” Jodie Cook explained, “And I wanted to give them a helpful guide that will help them navigate their new role as a leader and entrepreneur.”
Jodie Cook has published 20 books on entrepreneurship, including several children’s books that help parents raise entrepreneurial kids. “The skills we learn as a child shape us into the adult we become,” Jodie shared, “The values that my parents instilled in me since I was young helped me when I decided to start my company. Critical thinking, problem-solving, working within set constraints–all these skills I learned as a child were the skills that supported me in my journey.”
Becoming an entrepreneur is a big step towards financial independence and security. Unfortunately, many people do not feel confident that they can do it, but Jodie Cook is sure that everyone is capable of rising to the occasion.
“I recently launched a free training program to help new and aspiring entrepreneurs or even individuals who want to challenge themselves. We all have it in us to level up our lives and achieve progress,” Jodie said.
This training program is free and available on her website. The training focuses on the person, identifying their blockers, setting goals, and achieving them. “A change in mindset can do wonders, but it can make an even bigger impact when coupled with action,” Jodie Cook said. Business and entrepreneurship can be a tough road to choose, but Jodie Cook shows how progress and success are possible for everyone.
