Human Resources function, especially recruitment, has gone through a sea change in the last few years, owing to technological innovation. The recruitment process has become more efficient and agile with each technological succession. All HR functions, performance management, human resource flow, rewards and benefits, and talent acquisition play a pivotal role in an organization’s success; however, it has been noted that talent management has emerged as an exclusive source of competitive advantage.
The research paper notes that Facebook and LinkedIn play a decisive role in the recruitment process compared to other social media platforms. They both are used extensively by both recruiters and job aspirants.
In her study, the India-based US researcher, Kavyashri Meda, established that many organizations worldwide have set up e-recruitment systems and other plans to incorporate several e-recruitment instruments into the organizational setup.
