Author Peggy Park’s inspiring book, “Unshackled: Experiencing True Freedom for Men and Women,” takes readers into the pathway for breaking free of the chains that bind, beginning with a transformational relationship with Jesus and then embracing his instructions for living.
The book includes true stories of people who have struggled and relates how they broke free, plus specific steps readers can take to experience the same freedom.
In a review, Linda C. Davis says Peggy Park’s book will help individuals find the way to sever the bonds of defeating behaviors and attitudes that keep them from living their lives to the fullest.
“Are you pulled down by life in general? Are you full of fears for the future? Do you feel broken on the inside? This book should be on every Counselor and Pastor’s shelf. It’s a ‘must have’ for all who are on the journey to wholeness,” Davis wrote in her review.
On the other hand, Prayer Bloom described “Unshackled” as an amazing book filled with stories of hope and peace through the strength of God to break shackles of different bondages that people may experience in life.
“After reading these testimonies, one is highly encouraged in the mercy and grace of God of bringing hope in dire situations. I highly recommend Unshackled to anyone who needs hope,” Bloom wrote in a separate review.
Meanwhile, Rhonda Bartlett said “Unshackled” was the very tool God used to tear down her mask and enable her to start on a journey she never expected.
Peggy Park was born on a cotton farm in Mississippi. After nursing school and marriage, she moved to Lexington, Kentucky, when her husband joined the Lexington clinic as a physician.
Peggy was a full-time mom until her last child was in junior high, at which time she returned to nursing. She spent nine years in part-time bedside nursing at the University of Kentucky Markey cancer center.
She retired to have time to develop her discipleship writing. She has six grandchildren who are a great joy to her. Only two live in the same town, so her grandmother’s journal has been very helpful in bridging the miles. The Power of The Lamb’s Blood, her first book, has been translated into two languages. Her latest book is Grandmother’s Journal.
Thus, “Do you drag through life ensnared by addictions, memories, old hurts, and disappointments? …Freedom is possible.” Unshackled: Experiencing True Freedom for Men and Women is a compelling book of optimism in restoration. Those who want to get a copy can purchase it on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Book Depository. A professionally done screenplay for the book is also already available for production.
