- Adam can expand on recommended digital finance solutions to uplift those in poverty.
During a recent press event, Adam Cole made these comments, “Impactathon reflects my own journey in working with others toward poverty solutions. It starts with the heart, which for me was literally broken to see people suffering but cannot stop there. Especially as we process systematic racism in America, we need events like this focused on united toward a common cause – and setting a path for an inclusive future.”
“Join the Journey” has been primarily dedicated to Haiti since 2010, first with a tent village of earthquake victims and now in a mountain community called Canaan where most victims migrated. JTJ has provided funding for the community to build a church, now in the final stages. Operating since 2010, the organization has distributed 25,000 pounds of food, 2,000 pounds of school supplies, 3,500 Christmas toys, and impacted 1,000 families through micro loans to vulnerable populations in Peru, Haiti, Cameroon, Philippines, and most recently Zambia.
