Oconomowoc, WI – Ledsens LLC is pleased to announce it is the recipient of the prestigious Rising Star Governor’s Award for its innovative LED Light Bulbs with Battery Backup, called Safelumin.
Safelumin is a daily-use, LED emergency light bulb ideal for power failures and general use. Each light bulb includes a rechargeable battery that activates to provide continued light in the event of a power failure. Safelumin is perfect for homes, businesses, nursing homes, clinics, restaurants, hotels, stores, and hospitals, all of which require consistent lighting during power outages.
“With so many power failures and natural disasters in recent years, we knew there was a need for the public to have access to light in emergency situations,” says Chamy Lutz, founder of Safelumin.
On October 24th, 2019, the Governor of Wisconsin, Tony Evers, awarded the team at Ledsens with the prestigious 2019 Marketplace Rising Star Governor’s Award, which recognizes outstanding businesses owned by minorities, women, and service-disabled veterans.
