A Lunar Eclipse in Pisces, followed by a Solar Eclipse in Virgo, is expected to stir the skies during September. These eclipses serve as invitations to observe more carefully what needs transformation in life.
According to Astrolink, the leading self-knowledge app through astrology, eclipses along the Virgo–Pisces axis highlight the contrast between rationality and sensitivity. Pisces connects with spirituality, intuition, and the unconscious, while Virgo emphasizes practicality, analysis, and organization. This dynamic creates a decisive period for those seeking greater balance and alignment with personal needs.
Astrolink explains that the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces represents a moment to give voice to silenced emotions — an invitation to release guilt, expectations, and emotional wounds. The Solar Eclipse in Virgo, on the other hand, is ideal for adjusting routines, caring for body and mind with greater intention, and creating healthier habits.
Signs to Watch For
The Astrolink team emphasizes that bodies and minds often send signals during periods of high intensity. Some possible signs include: difficulty quieting the mind, persistent fatigue, strong need for isolation, heightened emotional reactions, insomnia or vivid dreams, and unusual lethargy. Rather than ignoring these signals, they should be treated as valuable messages indicating the need for attention, care, or transformation.
Rituals and Practices for the Eclipses
To navigate this moment with presence and awareness, Astrolink suggests accessible rituals:
– Energetic and material cleansing: donate unused items and create a more welcoming environment. Baths with rosemary, lavender, or basil can purify both body and surroundings.
– Write and release: write a letter about what needs to be left behind — resentments, patterns, expectations — and burn it safely as a symbol of liberation.
– Meditation for acceptance: with eyes closed, breathe slowly and repeat mentally: “I accept each phase of my life. I release what no longer serves me.”
– Consult the natal chart: each eclipse activates specific areas of the chart, and Astrolink offers a free chart to identify where these transformations are likely to occur.
What to Avoid During the Eclipses
Eclipses bring unpredictable transformations. Astrolink recommends avoiding impulsive decisions, manifestation rituals, or excessive attempts to control outcomes. Healing is gradual, and forcing solutions may increase anxiety rather than provide clarity.
The Power of Small Gestures
The strength of eclipses lies in subtle shifts: a quiet moment, a kind gesture, or breaking an old habit. These seemingly small actions create the foundation for deeper transformations. As Astrolink emphasizes: “Rushing does not suit this cycle. Attentive listening, presence, and conscious self-care sustain real change.”
