NEW YORK, NY – July 25, 2025 – Multi-award-winning artist ETCETERA has been nominated for a Hollywood Independent Music Award (HIMA) in the Adult Contemporary Hip Hop category for his gripping single “SECRET,” featuring two-time Grammy-nominated vocalist JMarv. The track is a standout from his critically acclaimed third studio album, SAGITTARIUS.
This nomination adds to an incredible year for ETCETERA, who recently won Best Pop Rap Performance at the World Entertainment Awards. Known for his fearless genre-blending and raw storytelling, ETCETERA continues to raise the bar for independent artistry. “JMarv’s voice made ‘SECRET’ something powerful and timeless,” says ETCETERA. “Every lyric is intentional. Every note has meaning.”
Released via IDOL Music Group Inc. and distributed by UnitedMasters, SAGITTARIUS is a genre-bending fusion of pop, hip hop, soul, EDM, Latin, and punk. Tracks like “DANCE FOR YOU” (ft. Kaya Jones), “BY YOUR SIDE” (ft. Trisha Covington), “CHURCHES AND ANGELS” (ft. Grapevine), and “FUEGO” (ft. Serena) have helped the album become one of the most talked-about indie releases of the year.
