Montreal, Quebec – March 14, 2025 – Sollum Technologies, a leader in innovative dynamic LED grow lighting systems, is helping commercial greenhouse growers significantly boost crop yields and lower energy consumption. Recent results show a remarkable 26% reduction in energy usage from January to May, reaching a peak savings of 44% in May, coupled with an average yield increase of 16.7% for mini cucumber crops.
Traditionally, greenhouse operators have relied on High-Pressure Sodium (HPS) lighting, known for high energy demands and limited flexibility. Sollum’s dynamic LED grow lights mimic natural sunlight cycles, providing growers unprecedented control over crop conditions. These advanced lighting solutions enhance plant health and growth rates, crucial for increasing yields and improving energy efficiency.
“Greenhouse operators are actively looking for sustainable lighting alternatives that also reduce operational costs,” explained Jenny Zammit, spokesperson at Sollum Technologies. “Our dynamic LED systems provide growers the flexibility and precision they need to achieve better productivity and measurable energy savings.”
Headquartered at 740 Notre-Dame St W Suite 601, Montreal, Sollum Technologies continues to lead the way in sustainable greenhouse lighting solutions. Growers are encouraged to explore how Sollum’s LED lighting controllers and dynamic lighting solutions can optimize greenhouse productivity, yield consistency, and operational efficiency.
