Born and raised in Anasco, Puerto Rico, Dr. Castillo’s academic journey took an unexpected turn. Initially pursuing a degree in Biology at the Pontificia Catholic University of Puerto Rico with aspirations of a Master’s in Mycology, her path altered when a friend introduced her to the world of chiropractic care. A pivotal moment occurred during a meeting featuring a Chiropractic College professor, sparking a profound realization of the transformative power of chiropractic.
This revelation intensified when Dr. Castillo experienced chiropractic care firsthand a week later. Recognizing her true calling, she promptly shifted gears, canceling her plans for a Master’s Degree in Mycology and initiating the admission process at Sherman College of Chiropractic.
Embarking on her journey, Dr. Castillo relocated to Spartanburg, South Carolina, to pursue her lifelong passion for enhancing the quality of life for others through chiropractic care. After earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, she set her sights on Houston, bringing her expertise and unwavering commitment to the community.
Dr. Castillo is driven by a commitment to helping individuals achieve their optimal well-being. Her approach is rooted in the belief that chiropractic care extends beyond symptom relief, focusing on the body’s innate ability to heal.
