According to the report, Android devices, predominantly utilizing Chrome as their browser, have demonstrated superior CPMs, surpassing their iOS counterparts. Since January, these devices have witnessed a substantial increase of approximately 30% in CPM rates.
Meanwhile, iOS devices have experienced an even more remarkable surge. The report reveals an impressive increase of approximately 60% in CPM rates for iOS devices. This significant boost underscores the growing influence and profitability of the iOS ecosystem within the online advertising industry.
While Assertive Yield’s Global Programmatic Ad Revenue Index specifically highlights a sluggish performance in Q4’22 and Q1’23, concurrently, they affirm that the programmatic industry and individual publishers are maturing. Previously reliant solely on direct revenue and AdX, publishers are now embracing AI header bidding solutions as advertisers are continuously seeking better ROI in programmatic deals.
