The author Dai Morris has recently written a book, Something Hairy Came down the Stairs, and all the kids are in love with it! The author has compiled a children’s book and targeted the audience of young age kids 1-6 years old. The kids have been reading it mostly before bedtime as the story includes the adventure of a little girl who has an adventure of her own past her bedtime.
The story depicts a great moral for the kids that they should never sneak out of their bed if the parents have tucked them in; rather, they should sleep peacefully because if they step out, they can conquer some creepy made–up monsters as the little girl did. As she goes down the stairs all the way to the kitchen and back to the washroom, she encounters some creepy things, but as she lies on her bed, her mind wanders if this was only a nightmare because she had eaten pieces of cheese from her father’s plate.
The story ends beautifully with all of the monsters gathered around the little girl’s bed and tucking her in. reading this story to your little one, you both can have an entertaining time. You can mimic some noises of the monsters to make the reading even more interesting for the little folks as they always prefer a good narration of the story before their bedtime.
If your kid prefers reading on their own, this book can also be their top pick because of the interesting illustrations; your kid will engage throughout the story. The story is written from the perspective of a little girl who shares her adventure, this will help the kids bond with the book, and at some point, they will relate to the little girl.
