POULSBO, WA – Finn Hill Dental in Poulsbo, WA, has a new owner. Dr. Nathan Russell purchased the practice from Dr. Thomas Redfern.
Dr. Redfern will continue to be associated with the practice for a while longer. Both dentists say the transition is going perfectly.
“Dr. Redfern is an icon in the Poulsbo area. He has treated generations of patients. To be allowed to take over the practice is a major honor for me,” Dr. Russell said.
Dr. Russell chose to come to Poulsbo in part because of the reputation Dr. Redfern has. Add to that the welcome from the community when he arrived to be a family dentist and the dentist said he knows he made the right choice. As Dr. Russell explained, he could have located anywhere but chose Poulsbo because the community leaders work hard to make the community business-friendly.
“Can’t say enough about the welcome we have received. Everyone here has just been wonderful to work with,” he said. “We definitely made the right decision.”
Finn Hill Dental’s primary focus is general dentistry, with checkups, cleaning, filling, dentures and other work topping the list. The clinic will also offer cosmetic dentistry with veneers, tooth whitening and the Invisalign tooth-straightening system.
“We also have sedation dentistry,” Dr. Thomas Redfern said. “We know going to the dentist is uncomfortable for so many people, so we want to make it as stress-free as possible.”
The clinic also offers emergency dentistry services. The doctors said emergencies do not happen on a schedule. This is why they want to be available to the community when bad things happen.
“No one wants to look for a dentist in an emergency. But, if that does happen, know that we are here for you and you will get the same care, the same attention and the same respect given to patients with appointments,” Dr. Russell said.
