This carbon laser peel procedure is a multi-part process which begins by a certified aesthetician applying a layer of liquid carbon on the client’s face. The carbon helps to absorb dead skin cells, oil, and dirt from within the deepest of skin pores. It takes around 10 minutes for the carbon layer to dry. After the layer has dried, the aesthetician will pass a laser, like Nd: YAG, over the skin on a low-energy setting. It will heat up the carbon and help it to bind to the epidermis. Next, the laser will be put to a high-energy setting which will help to fragment the liquid carbon into minute particles.
